Strava is a much loved app that many of use to record our runs and it's caused quite stir in the news this week!
We should point at here that anyone who uses Strava can change their Strava privacy settings to restrict who can view your runs and activities.
A report in the French newspaper, Le Monde, has found that the highly confidential movements of U.S. President Joe Biden, presidential rivals Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, and other world leaders can be easily tracked online as their bodyguards have been found to be using Strava!
But the U.S. Secret Service told the newspaper that it doesn’t believe the protection it provides was in any way compromised.
Le Monde found that some Secret Service agents use Strava, as well as members of the security staff for French President Emmanuel Macron and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
We wonder if they were looking for segments on their travels and trying to claim new records!
